I am sitting here after having done a show and it was kind of interesting in that it was sort of a pain in the ass. there was some kind of spammer that was able to knock the show off the air for a minute, and that wasn't so bad but there were a herd of others that were making what i'm told are "running internet jokes" and it was kind of lame. lameness is the enemy for me. that's why i usually am not too pumped about someone skyping in because we usually not only have a hard time hearing them, and them us i'm sure, but also, they usually slow the show down too much. at the same time, my partners in crime are feeling a little verklempt about the speed at which i'm talking. i think they kind of feel tired by the constant rate of my speech but this is sort of the trademark of the show, and i like the idea of being able to throw so much at the wall in such a short time so as to almost baffle the listener into paying attention so as to keep up.
anyway, i just felt a little dry after the show and i wanted to say so. of course i thank all the folks that we're cool (you know who you are!) and just taking the show for what it is and not complaining.....

I saw these peanuts at work on Emily Lakdawalla's astronomy site whilst I watched the NASA site in parallel. They aren't bright enough to write their own code; it's readily available at some evil site - and of they go to ustream broadcasts to have their "fun".
It always makes me wonder how shallow their lives must be; or what they are missing. And what they are missing, I have already experienced or live with in abundance. You can fill your own gaps; but these are the positive elements of existence... the true realm of humanity.
So I dropped in a little late for the "hit show" (lol) but nawlins and guidewire brought me up to date. After the dust settled the survivors re-grouped; they may well return...but if you don't keep going how will you get my "downunder gems?" (big LOL with a lashing of maple syrup)..

OH, And a secondary thought re the "crash spammers" (and I've just been in there and I think they were waiting for you but its Tues your time ergo no transmission).......
Some shows seem to control activity by the protocol if you are not logged in, you can't post. Is it time to tighten things up a bit? I am sure your techo people have looked at this, but (as a temp measure) it might be a better move to preserve what you have set up. From what I just read in your sites dialogue box it seems they will return.
I am sure we will talk in 24hrs (have to get up early to whizz my daughter into school for an early start school excursion).

Ron I am doing my best to learn the lingo but I have to ask wtf does “verklempt” mean . . . . . . . Ron you’re a top guy and so are most of the peeps in the chat room. . .those that aren’t; we should perhaps make allowances for . . It strikes me that over the Internet you never know who or what your allowing into your life, and like life, some of it is good and some of it is bad.
We must all remember that any activity we do even when we do nothing is a political statement. And Ron Ryan Jason and everyone else your all my number one . . . and that’s the truth of it !
