vell, vell, vell people, vat is da trute of it? i am here to spread the word of whatever to whomever however i can, where ever they are. and it all starts with my little blog here today. having said all that i really should make an entry that goes beyond the boundaries of the here and now and the now or never, and speak, for a moment, to the what if and the why.

THUS

what if you were given three wishes? what would you wish for? i think that the real answer to that question would teach you a great deal about yourself. i was asking myself that very question as i drove into work this morning and, of course, i was tailoring my wishes to serve the whole. i was wishing that true compassion would become the over-riding impulse at all times for all people, that disease would be vanquished for all time and i added lastly that "heaven" be a real place that we could all live in forever and ever, amen. and then after a few moments the whole thing was forgotten and my mind had rambled off to some other exploit, leaving my holier than thou wishes to fallow in the wake of my wanderings. it's funny how even the greatest intentions become fodder in the grist mill of time and we are left with the here and now, the very place that we want our imagination and our expressions of grandeur to lift us out of. As we struggle to gain a perspective that is free of the limitations of our immediate surroundings, we may be missing the things that are so very cool that exist right in front of our eyes.
it's all been said before but i thought that it needed repeating again, as i remind myself of my "three wishes" scenario that played out in my car on the way to work this morning.
